The F.E.A.R project is the result of a significant collaboration between Eric the Client and Renaud the Architect and an exceptional mutual commitment

We both demonstrated an exceptional presence on the construction site with two to three on-site meetings per week,” reveals Renaud. “That shows the importance that we both gave to every detail.” Which also required a significant presence of Eric on the construction site, ready to challenge, to confront the choices of the Architect. It is this intense collaboration that made possible to build a relationship of mutual trust, made up of constructive discussions and sometimes lively confrontations.”

This architectural adventure is above all a story of Men in search of the extraordinary and the beautiful. The design was a real challenge. “The goal was to create a work that was both modern and timeless, capable of integrating harmoniously into its mountain environment” Renaud tells us.

The many difficulties encountered throughout the project were opportunities to enhance and boost the teams’ determination and demonstrate our proficiency as well as our ability to find innovative solutions. Because “it is in adversity that we measure the value of Men,” Renaud emphasizes.

“That’s why I think we can say that there is architectural resilience in this project,” he confides.

Certainly F.E.A.R, is not exempt of flaws, but the result is a masterful work, marked by the personality of its creators and noble materials such as wood, local stone and glass.

F.E.A.R is a unique living space, an unparalleled achievement, designed to fit harmoniously into the long term and its environment.

This project is a source of pride for the entire team and will remain a culmination in the careers of those who worked on it.
